This is a single page project that draws a Month View Calendar for a given Month and Year using very basic HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The page should load showing the current month and year with today's day highlighted, you just have to select a month to go to it or type a new year and click 'Show' to update the display then select a day by clicking on it. Calendar shows days belonging to the 'previous' and 'next' months grayed and all days have a tooltip showing their full date. Click 'Show Selected Date' for an Alert Box showing currently selected date. NOTE: All text is written in English, 'First Day of the Week' is always Sunday and there are no Week Numbers. Also, there is no KeyPress day navigation e.g. Arrow Keys moving selected day; any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm a newbie to JavaScript (this is my first project). I searched PSC 'HTML5/JavaScript' for the word 'Calendar' but got no results so I thought it might be worth uploading this in case someone else was looking for a working example (of sorts).

Afterdownloading it, you will need a program like Winzip to decompress it.Virus note:All files are scanned once-a-day by Planet Source Code for viruses, but new viruses come out every day, so no prevention program can catch 100% of them. For your own safety, please:
  1. Re-scan downloaded files using your personal virus checker before using it.
  2. NEVER, EVER run compiled files (.exe's, .ocx's, .dll's etc.)--only run source code.

If you don't have a virus scanner, you can get one at many places on the net
