This creates a simple text based hit counter which stores all the information in a single text file instead of separate files for each webpage. This is easy to implement and the same principle can be used to store additional information in the same file.

Hi,
I put the code on my site and I can't get to work. I put the asp files in my cgi-bin directory and add the img src='cgi-bin/stat.asp?from=index.htm' width=0 height=0 border=0code with the <> to my index.html page but get nothing. Anyone know how to fix this?
