     Finally I could made a Tabcontrol that we can add controls as in MS tab control. Features Tab Reordering Scrolling Spinner Enable Disable Tabs Skin Support

I notice that the project (or perhaps just the User Control) uses subclassing.
Any advice (or calming words) for those of us that have avoided subclassing up until now

Yes, certainly you can use without subclassing. Simply comment the pvsubclass calling. And enable the user control's edit at design time property.
